Getting started

Connecting your 𝕏 account

Rewards settle to the 𝕏 account you post from, so Tutti asks you to confirm that account is yours β€” once, before your first campaign. Here is every screen you will see, and exactly what Tutti can and can't do with your account afterwards.

Why we ask#

Connecting is how Tutti knows a post is yours. Without it, the views a campaign earns have no one to settle to.

  • Rewards settle to the connected account. Anything posted from a different account is not counted.
  • You connect once, and it carries across every campaign. Renaming your handle does not break it β€” we key on 𝕏’s numeric account id, not the @handle.
  • One 𝕏 account belongs to one Tutti account. That is what keeps the same post from being rewarded twice.

Two ways to connect#

Both paths end in exactly the same connected account. Pick whichever you are comfortable with.

About 10 seconds

Connect 𝕏

Authorize Tutti on 𝕏, read-only. One click, nothing to copy or paste.

About a minute

Verify with a post

Post a one-time code from your account and paste the link back. Tutti never touches your account.

Inside an in-app browser β€” a link opened from 𝕏, WeChat or Telegram β€” authorization often fails silently. There, post verification is the reliable path; or open Tutti in Safari or Chrome first.

Path 1: Connect 𝕏#

Three screens from the first click to a connected account.

  1. 01

    Press Connect 𝕏 on Tutti

Open the connect page and press the main button. Nothing is shared yet β€” the button only opens 𝕏’s own authorization page.

    tutti.so/connect-x

Authorize on 𝕏 and you're connected. Read-only β€” we never post, follow, or message from your account.

    Approve on 𝕏

What comes next is 𝕏’s own screen, not ours. Check the address bar says x.com before you approve. Tutti asks for two read-only scopes (users.read and tweet.read) β€” the same public information anyone can see on your profile. Approve, and 𝕏 sends you straight back to Tutti.

    Tutti will be able to

    • See your public profile: handle, display name, avatar
    • See your public posts and their public metrics
    • See your numeric account id β€” the identifier rewards settle to

Tutti will not be able to

    • Post, repost, reply or like from your account
    • Read or send direct messages
    • Follow, unfollow, block or mute anyone
    • See your password, your email on 𝕏, or anything private

    You are connected

Back on Tutti your handle shows as connected and account review starts on its own. Cancelling on 𝕏 leaves nothing behind β€” there is no half-connected state.

One more step: account review, usually about 5 minutes. We'll email you when it's done.

What Tutti keeps β€” and what it cannot do#

The connection is read-only, either way you connect. Tutti reads your public profile, keeps the few fields it needs, and drops the rest.

Tutti keeps

  • Your 𝕏 numeric account id β€” the identifier every reward settles to.
  • Your @handle and display name, refreshed on sign-in, for display.
  • Your avatar image, for your profile and campaign pages.

Tutti cannot

  • Post, repost, reply or like from your account.
  • Read or send direct messages.
  • Follow, unfollow, block or mute anyone.
  • See your password, your email on 𝕏, or anything a visitor to your profile cannot see.

Access tokens are not stored

The token 𝕏 issues during authorization is used once β€” to read your public profile β€” and then discarded. Tutti does not request offline access, so there is nothing to reuse later and nothing to leak.

Revoking access on 𝕏

You can remove Tutti anytime under 𝕏 β†’ Settings β†’ Security and account access β†’ Apps and sessions. Because Tutti holds no token, revoking changes nothing here: your account stays connected and your rewards are unaffected.

Path 2: Verify with a post#

Rather not authorize anything? Prove control the plain way: post a one-time code, paste the link back.

Tutti gives you a short code inside a suggested post. Publish it from the account you want to connect β€” reworded however you like, as long as the code survives β€” then paste that post’s link. Tutti reads that single public post to check the code, and nothing else.

  • You can delete the post right after verifying β€” the connection stays.
  • Protected (private) accounts cannot be read this way. Use Connect 𝕏 instead, or make the account public for a moment.

After you connect#

Connecting is the first of three steps. The rest is quick.

  1. 01

    Account review

We look at your content direction to match you with the right brands. Usually about 5 minutes; if it needs a human look, 1–2 days. We email you either way.

  2. 02

    Join campaigns

Once you are through, campaigns open up: join, submit a draft, and publish from the account you just connected.

  3. 03

    Rewards settle to that account

Views and engagement on posts from the connected account are what count. Posts from any other account do not.

Common issues#

β€œThis 𝕏 account is already connected to another Tutti account”

That handle is already connected somewhere β€” usually to an earlier sign-up of your own. Sign out and use Sign in with 𝕏 to land back in the original account. If that does not work, mail support@tutti.so. We never merge accounts automatically: both sides can carry earnings and referrals.

β€œAuthorization was cancelled on 𝕏”

You pressed Cancel on 𝕏’s screen, or closed the tab. Nothing was stored. Start again from the connect page, or verify with a post instead.

β€œThat authorization attempt expired”

An authorization is only valid for about 10 minutes. If the 𝕏 tab sat open longer than that, go back to Tutti and press Connect 𝕏 again rather than reusing the old tab.

Nothing happens when I press Connect 𝕏

You are most likely inside an in-app browser β€” a link opened from 𝕏, WeChat or Telegram β€” where 𝕏’s authorization often fails silently. Open the page in Safari or Chrome, or use post verification, which works everywhere.

β€œWe couldn’t find that post”

Either the post is seconds old and 𝕏 has not served it yet β€” wait a moment and press Verify again β€” or the account is protected, which we cannot read. Also check the link points at the post itself, in the form x.com/yourname/status/…

I connected the wrong account

Moving the connection to a different 𝕏 account is a support operation, so activity and earnings travel with you instead of being stranded. Mail support@tutti.so from your account email and name both handles.

Ready? Connect your 𝕏 account. Anything still unclear, mail support@tutti.so β€” a person reads it.
