Clear permissions

Only the access the extension needs

Chrome shows these permissions before you load XTutti. Here is what each one is used for in this release.

XTutti never asks for your Tutti password. Campaign sign-in opens Tutti and checks your existing website session directly with tutti.so.

x.com
Adds the XTutti interface on x.com and recognizes public posts that have a Tutti Boost opportunity.
tutti.so
Loads campaign information and checks your Tutti sign-in status when you choose to connect.
Browser storage and alarms
Keeps extension state on your device and refreshes campaign information periodically. Chrome notifications are optional.

Manual beta installation

Load XTutti in Chrome

This beta is distributed as a ZIP, not through the Chrome Web Store. Chrome will not install it from this page or update it automatically.

    Download the ZIP

    Use the download button and keep the ZIP somewhere you can find it.

  2. 02

    Extract the archive

    Unzip it into a permanent folder. Do not delete that folder while the extension is installed.

  3. 03

    Open Chrome extensions

    Enter chrome://extensions in the address bar and turn on Developer mode.

  4. 04

    Load the folder

    Choose Load unpacked, then select the extracted folder that contains manifest.json.

  5. 05

    Open X

    Visit x.com or refresh an existing X tab. XTutti appears in the right rail when space is available.

Keep this page bookmarked. A future beta must be downloaded and loaded manually again.

Before you install

Does XTutti update automatically?

No. This manual beta does not use Chrome Web Store updates. Return to this page for a newer release and load it manually.

Do I need a Tutti account?

You can see public campaign activity without signing in. Sign in to Tutti when you want XTutti to show the Create and Boost options available to your account.
